What if I want a full Chakra Set?

The standard 7 bowl chakra sets on offer range from 6” to 12” (6”, 7”, 8”, 9”, 10”, 11” & 12”) or 8” to 14” (8”, 9”, 10”, 11”, 12”, 13” & 14”).

Whilst they achieve the objective of one bowl for each chakra, these sets are quite limiting as there are other more important factors to consider when purchasing a full set.

Those looking at buying 7 bowl sets are often practitioners (sound and vibration healers, sound bath, meditation and yoga facilitators and alike). In this space the clear objective is for healing purposes, and at the same time a pleasant experience for client/s, not just for sound using different tones. With that goal in mind, the smaller bowls (in our opinion through our own rigorous testing, anything below 10” is insufficient in providing the necessary depth of healing required to be of any real benefit). Furthermore it is important to note that the smaller the bowl, the higher pitched it sounds, and from experience, a great many find the smaller bowls irritating which in itself is counter productive.

The most important factor to be considered here is the depth of penetration into the body’s energy system. The larger bowls (14” and 16”) have a lower pitch that is much more pleasing to the ear but more importantly provide far greater resonance thus deeper penetration conducive for optimum healing.

With that said, we can now give explanation as to why the flexibility to choose your own combination of sizes is so important. Like most things in life what’s suitable for one is not necessarily suitable for another. For example, a sound healer with a larger audience may require mostly larger bowls just to achieve the reach necessary for all participants to receive the full experience and healing required. We have had many practitioners who have received negative and disappointing feedback from their clients who were positioned farthest away as they were unable to feel the bowls vibration. The issue here is that the smaller bowls resonance or reach is far less than that of the larger bowls, thus in this scenario the requirement for mostly if not all bowls to be at least 14”, preferably 16” would achieve the most desired outcome for all participants.

If you’re playing to a smaller audience, it is still advisable to have at least 1 or 2 of the larger bowls in the set for the purpose of achieving an optimum level and depth of healing during the session.

So the flexibility to tailor the set to your specific needs is paramount.

We are happy to discuss your specific requirements and can provide personalised guidance to assist you in determining the most appropriate combination to achieve your set goals.
