Californian White Sage
White Sage (Salvia Apiana) is a plant native to high desert ecosystems and grows prevalently in California and in the Mountain West.
For centuries, many cultures around the world have been burning dried bundles of sage, this ritual is more commonly known as “smudging”. The primary reason for smudging is to clear negative energy, purify, cleanse and spiritually protect your aura and environment.
Instructions for use:
First open all windows and doors.
Light the top of the dry sage bundle, when alight blow out the flame and begin to fan the smoke so that it stays thick and alive.
Slowly move through your home, wafting the smoke into all areas including the corners.
To extinguish into a heatproof dish of salt or sand.
